Shepherded by dedicated faculty and staff, our preschoolers experience a child-centered, hands-on environment that captivates their imagination. In our spacious classrooms and outdoor playground, students learn through discovery, exploration, experimentation, and creativity. To ensure safety, our preschool provides a controlled-access security system.
Through our sequential, developmentally appropriate curriculum, teachers integrate Biblical truths in every content area. Focusing on child development and project-oriented, play-based learning, we implement WEE Learn Curriculum, Innovations Infant and Toddler Curriculum, ELLM, HighReach Learning, and Handwriting Without Tears®.
Language studies, literacy, music, and technology serve as the foundations for our preschool program. In our Preschool Spanish class, students are immersed in the language through songs, stories, games, technology, and simple verbal interaction. Our American Sign Language class offers a “hands-on” beginning to literacy, incorporating the basic components of oral language development, phonemic awareness, and print knowledge. Music is woven into every content area of our preschool program as students play instruments, listen, move, and dramatize. In addition, preschool students learn age-appropriate technology skills via listening centers, traveling computer centers, an interactive white board, iPads, and various other media devices.
FBA’s Early Education also provides optional enrichment opportunities throughout the week. Participation is not required but made available to our families in an effort to provide additional family time in the evenings while still allowing the children to participate in extra-curricular activities. Enrichment opportunities are tailored to delight, entertain, and enrich your child’s afternoon experience. Students who choose not to participate will enjoy continued learning activities in their classroom.
